Japanese robot pet

We now have a biggest pet boom in Japan. However, finding a nice rental apartment or house is one of the hardest things in Tokyo if you have a pet.

Most of apartment or house owners don't want a pet in the house. So those apartments or houses that welcome usually have some kind issue. They are usually very old, not taken good care of, far from a station or next to a train track or a cemetary.

I am looking for a place to live now and while looking I found a place that was next to very loud trains and a stinky highway but they let you have a dog! No thank you. On top of all this, the apartment wants an extra 1,200 dollars that will not be returned just because I have a dog. So it's like, "please Mr. Landlord, and let me give you 1,200 dollars of my hard earned money for NOTHING in return other than letting me bring along my 3,000 dollar mini dox!" On top of this, you will have to give the owner of the apartment one months rent as “thank you money” you give the realtor one months rent for their fee which is none refundable. Plus two to three months rent as a deposit. At the end of the day, you’ll spend 10,000 dollars fast renting in Japan.

I sometimes wish I had a robot dog instead of a real one, even though I love my dog so much. The robbot dog acts just like a real dog and it even plays soccer if you program it.

Well, maybe tomorrow, I'll find a perfect house for me and my dog...

Pedestrian in Tokyo

In Tokyo, there are people everywhere you go. And just like other big cities, people walk very fast.

I heard a news last week that while looking at the window displays, a young lady had walked into a 90-year-old lady and made her legs disabled. The court pronounced sentence to her to pay $60,000.

Also, yesterday, a young guy got heavily injured, hit by the taxi that suddely ran into the sidewalk.

Both happened in Tokyo. Being a pedestrian is no longer safe in a busy city like Tokyo...

Tokyo Tower Light Is Off At Midnight

For us Japanese, the light of Tokyo Tower could be a compass in the center of Tokyo.

Even though you don't know where you are night time, if you can find the light of Tokyo Tower, you would get a clue.

There is going to be New Tokyo Tower in Sumida Ward in a few years. It is going to be the highest tower in the world.

The current Tokyo Tower is around Roppongi. This is the place many foreigners come when visiting Japan. However, it’s not a very good representation of my country.
Most foreigners that have been here for some time never go there because it’s nosily, too busy and the air is not very fresh.

The High Way In Tokyo Is Very Busy

Driving on the High Way in Tokyo is very hard for foreigners. You have to know exactly where you change the lane and merge into another route etc, or you would end up being lost.

Most cars in Japan now have very good navigation systems that would lead you in details. However, it is still hard for non-Japanese people to use those.

The public transportation system in Japan is excellent. So if you live in Tokyo, you don't really need to have a car, considering it is about $200 to $600 to rent a parking space only.
